If you have been searching for a way to make your Kia K5 interior look custom without paying for a one off build, a patterned interior kit is the most direct route. The Crush Customs Kia K5 interior kit was patterned specifically for the K5, which means it fits like factory upholstery but looks like nothing that ever left the factory.
This guide walks through what the kit covers, what it costs, how installation works and what to expect once you place your order.
What the K5 interior kit covers
Every kit reupholsters the main surfaces you see and touch every day:
- Driver and passenger front seats, seat backs and bottoms, including side bolsters and the two tone center stripes
- The rear bench, seat backs and bottoms
- All headrests
- The center console lid
The pattern follows the factory side airbag seam, so the seats keep working the way the manufacturer intended. That is one of the biggest differences between a patterned kit and generic seat covers.
How K5 kit pricing works
There are two base configurations because the K5 trims are built differently:
- K5 LX-S, EX and GT-Line sedan: $1,200. One standard pattern fits all three trims.
- K5 GT: $1,400. The GT has factory cooled seats, so its kit uses perforated material and cooler foam to keep airflow working, plus GT embroidery. Not sure which you have? Read our K5 GT vs GT-Line guide.
Optional upgrades are added before production: a matching hand stitched steering wheel, custom embroidery ($400), a diamond pattern or custom design ($400), door panel armrests and extra material components ($200), and door panel installation at $100 per panel.
Choose from 19 colorways
The kit comes in 19 colorways, from Crush Pink and Tiffany Blue to Peanut Butter, Emerald City and Deep Brown. If you are torn, our K5 interior color guide breaks down which colors pair best with each exterior paint. Material samples are confirmed before production, so what you approve is what gets built.
Your three install options
You pick how the kit gets into your car when you check out:
- Crush Customs installation ($800). Our team installs your seats and center console at the shop in Marietta. Choosing Crush install also takes $300 off the steering wheel upgrade.
- Installer referral. We connect you with a trusted installer near you, who quotes the install separately.
- Parts only. Already have an upholsterer? Your kit is prepared for them, with fitment details sent to you.
If you chose Crush install, you can request your install date right after checkout.
Material and warranty
Every K5 kit is made in Alea Leather, a sustainable vegan leather with a soft hand comparable to Nappa. Each seat gets an added 3/4 inch of high density foam for comfort on long drives, and the material is backed by a 7 year, 150,000 mile non transferable warranty. For a deeper comparison of materials, see leather vs vegan leather vs suede.
What happens after you order
Once you check out, you get an order confirmation with your build details. If you chose Crush installation, you can request install dates right away and we confirm by text or email during shop hours. If you chose a referral, we connect you with an installer near you. Parts only orders ship with fitment details for your installer. Material samples are confirmed before production, so nothing is cut until your colorway is locked in.
Why a kit instead of a one off build
A one off custom interior has to be patterned from scratch, which is where much of the cost and time goes. Because the K5 kit pattern is already engineered, you get a custom result with a set price, faster turnaround and a fit that has been proven on real cars.
