Some smells do not go away with a vacuum and an air freshener. Cigarette smoke, pet odor, spilled milk and mildew soak into carpet, seats and the headliner. Ozone treatment goes after the source.

How ozone treatment works

An ozone generator converts oxygen into ozone. Ozone is highly reactive, so it breaks down many of the odor causing compounds embedded in fabrics and vents. Instead of masking the smell, it neutralizes it.

What ozone removes well

  • Cigarette and cigar smoke
  • Pet odors
  • Food and drink spills
  • Musty and mildew smells
  • That used car smell

Why it works best after a detail

If the source of the smell is still in the car, it will come back. A full interior detail removes the residue first, then ozone treats what is left in the materials and HVAC system. For heavy spills, add carpet shampoo.

Is ozone safe?

Ozone treatment is done with the car unoccupied, followed by airing out the cabin before you drive. It is a professional process, not something to run while you are inside.

Pricing

Ozone treatment is a $120 add on to any Crush detail. Add it when you book.
