A custom interior is an investment. The good news is that keeping it looking new takes only a few minutes a week.

Cleaning Alea Leather and vegan leather

Every Crush K5 kit is made in Alea Leather. The routine is simple:

  1. Clean: gently wipe the seats with a damp cloth and mild soap and water.
  2. Rinse: use a clean, damp cloth to remove soap residue.
  3. Dry: wipe dry with a soft microfiber towel.

Weekly routine

  • Remove trash and loose items
  • Wipe high touch areas: steering wheel, shifter, door pulls, console lid
  • Quick wipe of seats, especially the driver side bolster

Monthly routine

  • Vacuum seats and seams with a soft brush attachment
  • Full wipe down of all upholstered surfaces
  • Clean inside glass with an ammonia free cleaner

What to avoid

  • Harsh chemicals, bleach and ammonia
  • Magic erasers and abrasive pads
  • Silicone based shine products that leave a slippery film
  • Letting spills sit, especially on lighter colors

Protect against heat and UV

Sun is the biggest long term threat. Ceramic tint blocks heat and UV, and a sunshade helps when you park outside.
